Amy Yazzie
President
I am honored to be the President of the Fort Hood Scholarship Fund this year because I truly believe education can make all the difference in someone’s life! FHMFMSF is a phenomenal organization that devotes it’s time to helping our amazing Military Spouses and Dependents achieve their educational goals. To be a part of an organization with a long standing history of allowing those who have served alongside their soldier to help achieve their own aspirations is a true privilege.

Advisory Committee
With 20 years of experience in elementary education, I am honored to be able to support the educational aspirations of military children and spouses. I believe in the power and importance of educational opportunities for all. I am the wife of a retired soldier and the mother of two daughters, one of whom was a recipient of one of our scholarships last year. I know first-hand the impact scholarships can have on an individual’s ability to pursue their educational dreams. I have taught in military-affiliated school districts across the country while my husband was on active duty and am thankful that I can continue to contribute to our military community in this capacity.
