The Fort Hood Scholarship Fund Board

Amy Yazzie

I am honored to be the President of the Fort Hood Scholarship Fund this year because I truly believe education can make all the difference in someone’s life!  FHMFMSF is a phenomenal organization that devotes it’s time to helping our amazing Military Spouses and Dependents achieve their educational goals.  To be a part of an organization with a long standing history of allowing those who have served alongside their soldier to help achieve their own aspirations is a true privilege.

Angel Eagan

Vice President

I am honored to serve as the Vice President for the Fort Hood Scholarship Fund. Education empowers us to be better versions of ourselves. It is a passion to educate others on education and scholarships.

Esra Mills

I am honored to serve as the Publicity Chair this year for the Fort Hood Scholarship fund. As a military spouse who works in Higher Education, I support and assist service members, Veterans, and their families. I am passionate about giving back to our community and it is a privilege to volunteer and help family members pursue their educational goals for a better quality of life.

Katie Albaugh-Wayan

Grant Writer

Having a background in Non-Profit Leadership and Management, I am honored to be able to help the Fort Hood Scholarship Fund continue to grow and impact the Fort Hood Military community.

Samantha Farlow

Events Coordinator

I am so thrilled to be serving as the Event Coordinator for such an amazing organization. My passions lay within education, public policy, helping and engaging with my community, and of course hosting a successful event! Higher education can bring such amazing opportunities to everyone, so I am honored to be a part of someone’s journey to pursuing their education goals.

Jennifer Kennison

Advisory Committee

With 20 years of experience in elementary education, I am honored to be able to support the educational aspirations of military children and spouses. I believe in the power and importance of educational opportunities for all.  I am the wife of a retired soldier and the mother of two daughters, one of whom was a recipient of one of our scholarships last year. I know first-hand the impact scholarships can have on an individual’s ability to pursue their educational dreams.  I have taught in military-affiliated school districts across the country while my husband was on active duty and am thankful that I can continue to contribute to our military community in this capacity.
