It is an honor and privilege to serve as President of this incredible organization. I have a heart for serving others. Knowing that the scholarships we provide will help propel the futures of our military children and spouses forward is an absolute blessing. I believe education is the key to unlocking our true potential and enabling our military families to find fulfilling and successful careers.
I am so thrilled to be serving as the Publicity Chair for such an amazing organization. My passions lay within education, public policy, helping and engaging with my community, and of course informing people of amazing organizations. Higher education can bring such amazing opportunities to everyone, so I am honored to be a part of someone’s journey to pursuing their education goals.
It is a privilege to serve as the Grant Writer for the Fort Hood Scholarship fund this year. As a military spouse myself, and former military dependent I truly believe that we have this incredible opportunity to make a difference with educational opportunities in our Fort Hood military community. My background closely aligns with working in this space as for the last decade I have worked in both the not for profit and government sector directly supporting our military in several areas. Holding this position brings me great honor to be able to serve our Fort Hood community, and our military dependents and spouses.
Hi, I’m Kristie Nix and I’m serving as the Events Chairperson this year. I have been an Army wife for over 27 years and have raised 3 amazing kids. I am a teacher by profession and highly value education and know that financial scholarships can help make college a reality for our military spouses and kids. With 2 of my children benefiting from military scholarship funds at different installations, I wanted to be able to give back by volunteering for such a valuable organization. I look forward to contributing and serving in this capacity and making the end of year ceremony a success.
